At Maria Montessori School, our location is much more than just a downtown Memphis address. Situated in the heart of the Harbor Town community, the school is an integral part of a unique urban neighborhood, often hailed as one of the best examples of planned community in the United States.

Our proximity to the Mississippi and Wolf rivers offers opportunities for learning through outdoor education that simply can't be found elsewhere. Our outdoor River Garden and Amphitheater overlooking the Harbor Town Marina is an ideal spot for school gatherings and performances.

Built in stages beginning in 1992, our campus buildings were designed by Architecture, Inc.
