Run along the mighty Mississippi River during “The Duck”, the Annual Maria Montessori School Duck Trail Race on Sunday, February 12th. The 5k trail race begins at 2 PM at the Maria Montessori School (740 Harbor Bend Road, on Mud Island) and continues to Greenbelt Park. After the race, enjoy refreshments, live music, and award presentations of special student-made awards back at the school. Race day registration at the school starts at noon, or sign up here online. The early registration race fee is $20 per runner, with barefoot runners at $17 (day of registration is $25). Proceeds benefit Maria Montessori School, the premier Montessori School in Memphis. This is an official Memphis Runners Track Club race. The Maria Montessori School, located at Harbor Town, Memphis, Tennessee, is a non-profit, non-denominational, non-discriminatory school that provides a unique scholastic curriculum for children 14 years old and under.
