About Maria Montessori School
The Maria Montessori School is an AMI recognized nonprofit school nestled between the banks of the Mississippi River and the Wolf River Lagoon in Downtown Memphis, Tennessee. Our school was founded by our headmistress, Maria Cole, in 1986. Since then, our campus has grown to three separate buildings on one quaint campus. At any given time, MMS houses up to 120 students in five separate environments, spanning from ages 18 months to 14 years.

Our location in the Harbor Town community of Downtown Memphis has helped MMS thrive. The picturesque location proves a fruitful learning environment complete with a large outdoor amphitheater, gardens, and riverbanks that offer unique opportunities and exploration. Simultaneously, our campus is only moments away from Memphis’ major thoroughfares and the core business district in Downtown Memphis.

About Job Openings
We are currently seeking Montessori guides to integrate into our established environments – from toddler through middle school. While Montessori training and certification in the AMI structure is preferential, it is not required (though additional training will be mandated in those cases).
